Issue Position

The freedom of religion is one of the most important rights we have as Americans. This right is not as safe as you might think. There are people who would force you to do things in your professional life that go against your personal beliefs. Recently we have seen changes in health care law that require religious institutions to pay for birth control in their insurance to employees. This is just one example of losing ground on freedom of religion. As a Republican I will fight for your rights to freedom of religion in and out of the workplace.
